Yirribu Boori
Our Yirribu Boori program, meaning through our babies has been developed to target preschool aged kids. it is a 6 week program, one day a week. each week we will visit the story of a certain animal and dive into the story of that animal through song and dance. Each participant will be given a set of clapsticks to join in on the fun and to keep at the end of the program. the last day of the program will be a family day where we will invite family for a bbq and perform a song and dance.
Yirribu Minga
Our Yirribu Minga program, meaning Through our Mother, has been developed to target Primary and High School aged kids. it is a 6 week program, one day a week. each week we will talk about the importance of culture through cultural connection, cultural identity, cultural knowledge, song and dance. the last day of the program will be a family day where we will invite family for a BBQ and perform a song and dance.
